Are you struggling to get your salmon just the way you would like..!? Does it either turn out undercooked or overcooked with burnt or soggy skin!? We hear you, but think with these couple of pointers you will be cooking restaurant quality salmon in no time!
Step 1. Make sure the fillets are dry – use a paper towel to pat each one dry. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
Step 2. Heat a non-stick fry pan over medium-high heat. Add the olive oil and when hot add the fish to the pan skin-side down. Use an egg flipper to press the slamon down into the pan to stop it from curling up.
Step 3. Leave the salmon to cook for 2-3 minutes. When the colour change reaches three-quarters up the side of the fish – turn and cook for another 30 seconds.
