This is such an easy way to cook salmon and leaves you with very minimal mess. It’s almost set and forget… (just don’t forget to set your oven timer!) The cooking time will vary depending on the thickness of your salmon – the best way to check is to insert a knife into the thickest part of the salmon and gently twist to see if it is cooked to your liking. The flakes should easily separate when cooked.
Step 1. Pre-heat the oven to 180°C.
Step 2. Arrange the salmon fillets on a lined baking tray skin side down and top with finely chopped garlic, fresh herbs and a drizzle of olive oil. Sprinkle the fillets lightly with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
Step 3. Place into oven and cook salmon for around 10 mins depending on the thickness of your salmon.
